The final itinerary is still being curated, but you can expect a mix of:

• A poolside group welcome, happy hour, and goodie bags!

• A bookstore crawl in downtown Austin, with other stops at boutiques and cute coffee shops

• A hosted creative workshop

• A group experience by a local company—think mahjong, mixology, yoga

• Bookish games, swaps, and discussions

• Memorable meals both at the house and out in the city

• Built-in time to read, lounge by the pool, or fully disappear for the afternoon

• A final brunch before everyone heads home

No problem — you’ll be in good company. There will be a mix of personalities, and the itinerary gives you options, not obligations.

Join everything, skip something, read by the pool, or take an afternoon to recharge. There’s no pressure to be “on” the whole time.

We’re also planning a pre-trip group chat and optional buddy matching, so you’ll have a few familiar names — and at least one familiar face — before you arrive.

Book your tickets separately, list each other on your preferences survey, and we’ll guarantee you’re roomed together.

Your ticket includes:

• 3 nights / 4 days of accommodations

• Meals, snacks + drinks at the house

• A group dinner out in Austin

• Curated unique activities + experiences (think creative workshops, crafts, games + more)

• Local transportation throughout the retreat

• Welcome gifts + goodies

• Planned moments to actually meet + connect with your new besties

• A few surprises we’re keeping secret 👀

Please note: Travel to and from Austin is not included.

If you book a shared-room option, we’ll send you a roommate survey before the retreat and use your answers to make thoughtful matches based on things like sleep schedules, social preferences, and room habits.

Confirmed guests will receive a pre-retreat questionnaire where you can share allergies and dietary needs. We’ll use that information while planning food and beverages for the weekend.

You can pay in full or choose a payment plan at checkout.

With the payment plan, you’ll pay an initial 25% deposit, followed by bi-weekly payments according to the schedule shown at checkout.

To cancel your retreat, you must notify us by email at hello@booksnbbesties.com.

Your initial deposit is non-refundable. For eligible Besties room bookings, the initial deposit is 18% of the total ticket price. For all other room categories, the deposit amount shown at checkout applies.

For sold-out events, cancellations made more than 90 days before the retreat may be eligible for a refund of amounts paid beyond the applicable non-refundable deposit, only if Books N’ Besties is able to fill your spot.

For non-sold-out events, all payments are non-refundable, and if you are on a payment plan, you remain responsible for the full outstanding balance.

No refunds are available within 90 days of the event, and any remaining balance due under your payment plan remains your responsibility.

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for personal circumstances, including illness, travel disruptions, work conflicts, or other unforeseen events. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
